DESCRIPTION:
This little battery tester was developed with the alarm servicement in mind. The small high impact plastic case allows for ease of storage in moblie tool kits. The larger colour coded voltmeter makes for easier viewing in small dark areas.

Electronic Loads
Switch mode 12-48 Volt with variable output 0-50 amps constant current
9V – 65V, battery discharger, 0- 50 amp DC continuous.
Designed and made in NZ, these rugged portable dischargers
Operate from 9-65VDC (no mains input required) and have a user settable current from 0-50.2 amps DC.
Designed for continuous use the temperature controlled fans
Operate from the input DC via a special controller and the fan current is included in the total displayed current.
A simple ON-OFF switch and current set knob complete the controls.
The units are protected from reverse input and from fan failure or over temperature and are sold to many telecom and electrical industry contractors throughout Australasia for 12,24,36 & 48V DC system tests.
At 12kg the units are easy to carry and portable, measuring 450mm x 250 x 250, and the large red LED display makes viewing easy from a distance.
6mm brass front terminal posts are provided for battery cables.
Units can be paralleled for higher currents.
We can supply "how to" brochures for technicians doing battery discharge testing, and bringing new battery banks up to full capacity. Special units are available on request (e.g. 24V 100A) -

400 Series Battery Tester
DESCRIPTION:
The 400 Series of Battery Tester was produced for the larger user of batteries such as trucking firms, battery companies, contracting firms etc. The battery tester will draw up to 400 Amps from a 12 Volt battery exposing a weak, dead cell, or a battery low in charge. A good battery should hold the voltmeter in the green zone. If not recharge and test again.
